It’s not a bubble. It’s one of the most beautiful, nicest, cleanest places to live in the world, of course it’s going to command higher prices…

It’s not a bubble for australia, it’s a lack of housing built vs population growth 😳

sitting here with zero personal debt 😏. I may not own much, but I'm happy, my business is doing OK and I'm healthy.

Sydney house owner here. Very glad not starting out now to buy a property. Took the plunge in 1990 just as mortgage rates hit 17%. It was a gamble - needed 2 good incomes on a 2-bed apartment. But 36 and trading up twice, 36 years later I’m glad we took the plunge. It was mortgage or rent, rent pays the landlord’s bills. The state government’s stamp duty is exorbitant though

A lot of people talk incessantly about this housing bubble like it’s gong to burst catastrophically but it’s simply not true.

No surprise Canada is going to zero NOM and ostensibly looking to burst this, just kills long term business growth.

It isn’t some bubble that’s going to pop. Supply will slowly catch up to demand and this crazy growth will slow down but you won’t see huge price drops except maybe in a few unlucky places.

Most properties are being sold prior to auction following a weak spring season.Without an interest rate cut,the market will continue to decline and quickly as distressed sellers flood the market
