This isn’t true. Bonded leather is the lowest quality. Genuine leather is real leather, but it’s not top-grain leather.

not 100% true. if it helps, think of it like wood. bonded leather is particle board, genuine leather is plywood, top grain is finished planks, and full grain is rough hewn lumber

the lowest leather is actually bonded leather they use it on couches in early 2000s and it peels away cuz we know we bought couches from a scam artist at a furniture store

Leather dust compressed. Bonded leather is leather dust applied to fabric or another material. Look for “top grain”.

full grain is the actual hide. Top grain is just that, the top layer, bonded leather is all the scraps ground up & a binder glue is added

I had this full grain leather wallet it was so tough I used it for sharpening knives and storing my cards highly recommend full grain, genuine leather is like paper you'll get threw it in no time.
