The bill costed me $3100 for the nignt. as he just dropped Fred and did not bother to even ask as a courtesy as to how I would manage it solely. It broke my heart to see him so distressed that he refused to eat.I stayed with him until 1 a.m. playing cat music and doing everything I could to comfort him. Cats are sentient beings—they feel love, fear, and pain just like we do. Despite the unfair reputation they sometimes get, Freddie’s refusal to eat showed how deeply affected he was by this upheaval. The vet warned that if he didn’t start eating, his condition would deteriorate, so I stayed by his side, because I couldn’t bear the thought of him feeling alone.
