@dailymailuk: A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after an eight-year-old schoolgirl and a 34-year-old man were seriously injured in a shooting. Armed officers from Metropolitan Police were called to Southern Row, in Kensington, West London at 5.34pm on Sunday following numerous 999 calls of shots being fired. Witnesses said they heard 'four or five shots' as the gunman was seen firing directly into a car on the street, while the child's mother was heard shouting, 'My baby, my baby's been shot.' In an update today, Superintendent Owen Renowden said a two-year-old child and a 32-year-old woman were also in the car at the time of the shooting.
