@herdotie: Almost six months later, Natasha O'Brien is still fighting for systemic change. Her's @jodycoffey1 sat down with @natashaobrienofficial in July following the news that her attacker would receive a suspended sentence, which caused uproar in Ireland and called into question our country's court system. She made a vow then to never stop speaking about it and she has kept that promise. Today, Natasha joins in solidarity with Nikita Hand, giving a speech at a march calling for an overhaul of the system that resulted in a civil case instead of a criminal trial against Conor McGregor. While Nikita won her civil case against the MMA fighter, ROSA @rosa_socfem_ie says the DPP is failing to prosecute in cases of sexual violence, labelling it a misogynistic justice system for survivors. Today also happens to be International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. 👏 #natashaobrien #nikitahand #rosa #endviolenceagainstwomen#internationaldayfortheeilimationofviolenceagainstwomen
