Have you tried talking to your doctor about medication? Like specifically naltrexone? It can help reduce the cravings to drink

When feeling like eating a bunch try like frozen fruit orrrr even like a fruit salad? They tend to fill you up and it’s not too bad in large quantities! :) Flavored ice might work too?

Your hunger spikes could be a symptom of alcoholic induced ketoacidosis. Your body’s blood sugar is probably out of whack. Think of it like diabetes for alcoholics.

Not even kidding, you need to ask one of your friends that doesn’t have a problem to ask their doctor for naltrexone, doctors give it out very often to people our age, do that until you can get insu

If you learn about dopamine dump you will learn how alcohol creates huge dumps of the happy hormone. So when you stop, you eat and drink various things to try to get something to trigger the dopamine

It’s actually super normal to get Hungry after quitting drinking! Alcohol suppresses your appetite and also decreases blood sugar. So when you stop it normalizes and makes you hungry!!
