This would purge about 15,000 active service members who are known to be Trans but there are reportedly thousands more in the service who identify as such. This order would also ban trans people from joining the military. The US Military is already short 41,000 recruits and despite spending billions of dollars in marketing, benefits, and incentives… No one wants to sign up. So removing 15,000 people would be really dumb. This ban is a move that some have described as losing real wars against China and Russia so that you can own the libs. One expert who spoke on the ban said “There would be a significant financial cost, as well as a loss of experience and leadership that will take possibly 20 years and billions of dollars to replace.” One active duty member said “There are junior enlisted personnel to high-end officers. You pull one of us out, that means others have to cover. These jobs could take months or even years to fill.” Trump’s pick for the Department of Defense has stated in books and interviews that he would remove women from serving in combat roles as well. That would remove over 4,000 members from the service. So what is the plan? Bring back the draft? Trump’s transition called the report “speculation”.
