Don’t think Richie Mounga would’ve changed it, couldn’t beat SA in the RWC final. NZ needs to look after their younger players especially from football and league.

What we actually need is for kids to see rugby, currently they only see it if their parents are into it and are able to afford it. Professionalization has been strangulating rugby since day 1

hmm appreciate the sacrifices past players have done. The rugby world has changed and unfortunately, wearing the jersey isn't enough anymore. We have lost some major players because of this rule. It's time to position this another way where overseas development is good for our players and our game. Win win. This would be good to review long term

Both have played in Japan on Sabaticals, and got dispensation from NZRFU, BB for two maybe 3 seasons, & DMac 1 season, Plummer wasn't afforded same option

Beaver is right. Sacrifices have been made to wear the Black Jersey because of the prestige it holds so players who chase the big bucks overseas have made their decision of money over country
