People just don’t think! My mother lost 13cm of femur from bone cancer replaced with titanium. Chronic pain for 26 years after, only to discover the nurse dropping her leg off the bed the day after surgery caused damage that was only fixed all this time after. My mother faced amputation (her late brother being a double amputee) because they wouldn’t operate due to muscle waste. She held out for all that time in severe pain. Your decision wasn’t a light decision. Only you know what is right for you. You’ve got an amazing attitude given what you’ve been through. You have my complete respect.
