The trick is to let the silicone set fully before filling it with oil. Also how in the world did it get past the screen and oil filter?

Yeah, I had a friend that built race car motors and he use a whole Dagon caulking tube the silicone on it on one motor😳

You should never use silicone to begin with, but the factory will give you a tube of silicone. I would never ever use silicone on an engine there’s other alternatives

It’s better to use too little silicone then it is to use too much. If you apply to Little and there’s a leak, you can see it and fix it. No biggie. I don’t understand why people apply so much.
