because the prime is a confused product, it’s not optimal as an EV only therefore it’s not optimal as a hybrid either. basically, you’re hopping back-and-forth trying to run it as a plug-in

I paid $60k for my prime at peak demand but in the end I sold it and got a Tesla. It’s a great car but it needs more EV range and more HP when in EV mode. Also Toyota interiors lagbehind kia Mazda etc

I love my 2024 prime. Almost never buy gas, maybe a tank every month which is 40L so like $50. And in 16km I’ve used about 3000KWhs at $0.09/kw overnight rate it’s cost me $270 in hydro.
