I just read Wuthering Heights a few months ago for the first time ever going into it thinking it was a tragic romance and honestly, it’s an unhinged story of mostly horrible people lol.

I hated Bel Canto so much, I only got about 75% of the way before I quit. 😭 Also, I just finished The Post Office Girl and immediately ordered Beware of Pity! So so good.

I don’t know if it’s your style but “Beartown” by Frederick Backman is my favorite winter book! So beautiful and yet extremely hooking, it deals with very strong themes and I love it :)

The Gate by Natsume Sōseki, I really enjoyed it! It’s melancholy but cozy, some have called it boring and slow but I think that’s kind of the point, it’s a window into the characters real lives
