So this is Cash. I adopted him from a friend that couldnt keep him anymore, and promised him a better life traveling with me for work. He’d soon become on of the best friends ive ever had, without me realizing it. He came to me in a time of need and instead of me saving him, he’d end up saving me. Cash became the community dog with the few people I genuinely call friends. There was uncle steve, jordan, and ryan. We all pitched in watching him and loving him unconditionally. He was spoiled rotten between the 4 of us and their girlfriends but also the sweetest dog we’d ever know. He was the light in the tunnel I had been trapped in for months and not knowing a way out, until he brought me joy. A time came where i had to leave for a job cash wouldn’t be able to come with me on due to me not being at the house much and day away. I trustingly left him with my uncle who had watched him before and he happens to live with my grandfather so I was happy knowing that there would be someone there at all times with this sweet boy. He needed to be crate trained a little bit more so my uncle left him in his crate while he left for work or did yard work I can’t remember. The next person to come up to that crate would be my grandfather. He takes cash out of his crate and pets and plays with him, cash then plays back and play bites like whats in the videos I’ve posted of him. Cash has puppy teeth that are sharp since he was only 12 weeks old at the time. One of those teeth while play biting with my grandfather, knicked his very thin skin causing him to bleed. He is on blood thinners so bleeding is hard to stop, so this angered him that he was bleeding. He then proceeds to take out his .22 pocket pistol and knowingly and willfully shooting cash in the head for it and leaves him there to bleed out beside his crate, squirming. I wasnt told until my way back from work a couple days afterwards, which caused me to not only drive frantically but panic the entire way there. I pick cash’s lifeless body up and bury him the same night I get back. I thought about so many scenarios in my head about what to do and how to go about it but nothing sat right with harming someone that my mom calls a father. So I had to leave it in the fact that my dog was murdered and there is nothing I can do about it due to my grandfathers large amount if money and lawyers he has behind him. I came on here to just spread awareness and share cashs story. I want to soread awareness on trusting who you leave your dog with, no matter how much you actually trust someone make sure you truly know them and who they are as a person. If you can take your pets with you anywhere you go I highly advise it, instead if leaving them with someone that doesnt have an attachment to them like you do. We all love you cash and we knkw well see you again some day soon. I love you buddy and im so sorry I wasnt able to be there for you when you needed me.
