@thecarmenshalayna: Pt.16| First time making this Creamy chicken tortilla soup and babbyyy it was delicious! ✨ Ingredients: Rotisserie chicken, shredded 1 (15 oz) can of corn, drained 1 (15 oz) can of black beans, drained and rinsed 1 (10 oz) can of Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies) 1 (15 oz) can of tomato sauce 1/2 yellow onion, diced 1/2 green bell pepper, diced 32 oz chicken broth (4 cups) 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream 1 jalapeño, diced (optional, adjust to taste) 3–4 cloves garlic, minced 1 lime (for juice) Cilantro, chopped Seasonings I used: Garlic powder Onion powder Black pepper Chicken bouillon Cumin How to make: Melt 1/2 tablespoon of unsalted butter in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño for about 5 minutes Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes Pour in the chicken broth. Add the can of Rotel, drained corn, drained and rinsed black beans, and tomato sauce. Stir to combine and season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, chicken bouillon, and cumin Bring the soup to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
