So many great LCAs out there on wind, EVs, etc. One example people forget is those oil wells take electricity to continuously pump.

My biggest issue with wind power is that I don’t see it scaling with our needs well. Mostly Nuclear power seems like the best option to me

It should be noted that oil is needed to make it only because it doesn't already exist. Eventually, the next wind turbine will be made with energy from previous turbines, no oil required.

Can the energy generated from turbines create more turbines? Can they power the machines to mine the minerals needed to fabric the materials, can the energy generated from the turbines melt the raw

I majored in agriculture and the sheer amout of people i meet in that degree that have an insane hatred of solar and electric cars is quite baffling when they should see the benefits to clean energy

They’re not useless just horribly inefficient and yeah they can technically produce good amount of power. However it is not dependable, difficult to transfer as actually useful power for homes.
