reman clutch will not hold up . you got a 40 %chance of getting a good one . that's all I run is mack and Volvo. mack holds better off road and takes more abuse than the other brands .

Years ago we had a reputable clutch rebuild and brake shop that did excellent work and when you got it back, it was just like new if not better. They are gone now and so now we do only new.

I had a Peterbuilt , kenworth ,gmc , international. mack held up better than the rest but yes pain to fix when they do break .

It’s all about the driver, a smart driver should get 1 million miles out of a clutch, its either in or its out I have seen them pull out in a gear that’s too high slipping the clutch !
