Had an exchange student say they genuinely thought high schools were like in the movies. Standing and talking in the halls for thirty minutes, having long meet ups in the bathrooms, and just generally messing around and not doing work. Also the schools in the movies are always new and so nice. I guess that’s just how we are portrayed to most of the world. It’s very interesting. The bathrooms don’t even have stall doors half the time because my school was so run down and over crowded lol
