Sulphur crested cockatoos can live 60-80+. Mine is 30, I'm 66 - she will outlive me barring accident etc. Had to provide for her in my Will & ensure good existing relationship with her future carers.

I live in southern Arizona, when it was hot the Ravens came to drink from my birdbath. I had hopes they would stick around but they did not. I was disappointed, I love watching them.

I have a raven (the third one now, the other two must have died?) call to my window every day and I hand feed her, we think it's a she, smaller face than some ravens? Cashew nuts are her favourite!
