You don't have to buy a round, you just explain that you aren't doing rounds this time. Unless you're part of the round system already and trying to get out of it, then that's not acceptable

yeah, the UK is much farther north than a lot of Americans picture in their heads. London is on the same latitude as Winnipeg, Canada. but it's warmer because of Gulf Stream currents
