And to remind you that your tests are your testimony! Don’t be afraid to vulnerable as it could become somebody else’s strength. People always say to me they love how passionate I am for the Lord, but there is purpose behind my passion! My losses led me to a path of total dependency on God. I’m sharing to show you the goodness of God for sustaining me and giving me purpose. When you see my joy, you should see God. How many Years have I been pregnant? 2005, 2006, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 How many living children do I have? 1 It feels like I’ve spent a lifetime fighting for something that should be natural and “easy”. And with each year passing the heavier it feels. Especially as some years multiply disappointments/losses are faced. And I know that’s an experience for many on this journey. When I think about the amount of times I came close to becoming a mother again it makes me realise how much strength God has given me over the years to have been able to endure it all. Has it been painful? Absolutely (sometimes unbearable), have there been tears? Absolutely! Have there been times that doubt and worry and fear crept in? Absolutely! But I’ve learned that’s all part of the journey called grief. There will be a rollercoaster emotions and every emotion is valid, there’s no rules to grief, the only thing we have to be responsible for is not letting our grief consume us. That can seem impossible but with God and the right love, support, guidance you will get through it day by day. Just please don’t try to go through it alone. If you asked me before I embarked on this journey if I could have survived any of it I would have said NO. BUT God has been my ultimate source of sustenance and strength, my husband has been my biggest support, my therapist has changed my life, and there’s been some real life angels supporting me along the way and putting my pain to purpose has been a blessing. I would like to encourage someone reading this on a similar journey of some of the lessons I’ve learned: - God is our ultimate source of strength: Don’t worry if you feel like you have none left, lean on Him and let him sustain you! - God is our uktimate source of comfort: nothing or noone can heal the heart the same way. - There’s no time to waste time: tomorrow isn’t promised, let go of grievances, offences, or worry. - Never lose hope: Hope is everything and without it you have nothing. - Vulnerability is NOT weakness: Gods strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. Therefore never forget the purpose your testimony can hold. - God is not done with you yet: There is a season for everything, and this season you’re in now it will pass. We have a heavenly promise to hold onto and that’s that better days are coming! - You are not a failure and neither has your body failed you.
