Usually with cults it’s either internal fighting between powerful leaders. The leaders begin to spiral and have too much too fast and go the way of Jonestown or they just collapse

The thing about it is, it’s a way of thinking not just specific to him or even the US. I’ve seen it in the UK with Brexit and Germany with other parties. They just move on to the next “idol”.
