even if it damages a cats hearing its smart to have that with baby kittens because they sneak around and hide so its best if u hear them but once theyre grown u can remove it

I don’t get why the bells are bad and also our cats are outdoor cats and the wildlife in our area is already endangered so we don’t want them sneaking up on birds

My cats have bells on their collars so they don’t kill birds and don’t be like “air tag” because what’s that gon do?

Unfortunately my cat needs the bell on her collar. she's an indoor cat and constantly trying to escape outside. we need to hear if she's coming if we're trying to get outside.

I’ve learned that collars are a little dangerous for outdoor cats cause it can catch on things when jumping. But I may be wrong cause that’s my experiences with game cats with collars

Is there some sort of alternative to bells? one of my cats is an indoor outdoor cat, I've tried keeping him inside full time, but he gets stressed out after 2 days and has a urinary problem (he's had surgery twice now cous of it). He's a hunter and I worry about the local birds etc. But I also can't afford to have him needing to go into surgery all the time (and quite honestly neither can he).

I did some research on this as I've heard mixed reviews on bell collars, so apparently bells are 50-60 db loud, so according to studies by Rachel Malakani does not affect cats

I don't see the difference between the bells and having tags on the collar both jingle

we only started using a bell when my cat was in her last year if life, the bell shook exesivrly when she had her seizures and helped us call and time them for vets.

Well some cat owners have black cats and makes it hard to see them in the dark so I think a bell collar would help
