I have had a copper IUD for 10 yrs & never had hormonal birth control before choosing paragard. I have a 4 day period & only one day of heavier bleeding. The rest I use a regular or light tampon.

I wish I knew this before I got my IUD! I have a three day period, one heavy day. When I had a copper IUD, my period was 10 days every time and insanely heavy the entire time 🫠
