in Germany we do it often just for fun. we checked Pokemon cards. somehow it's a training. 😅 and before others spam, the runtime costs per hour of this machine is not even 20€..

It's not about the electricity use, it's about the life of the bulb. They last a very specific amount of time and they are very expensive to replace. Sometimes you need to replace the entire machine.
