@dr.katie.h: Poor bubba 😞 Bronchiolitis is a viral lower respiratory tract infection, generally affecting children <12 months of age. Peak severity is usually at around day 2-3 from the onset of increased work of breathing, with resolution over 7-10 days. Has your little one ever had bronchiolitis? #drkatie #bronchiolitis #parenting #baby #sickbaby
my baby just got diagnosed with bronchiolitis. still taking medication, I've noticed the early symptoms but dr keeps on saying its normal and goes away. just put saline and clean the nose. for a time it helped a little but the coughing became noticeable. brought it up a couple of times on each visit however she says baby is fine until we went to another Dr because the sounds became louder and shes starting not to feed well.

Poor Archie. My youngest daughter caught it at 6 weeks old and had to be hospitalised for 6 nights. She was on CPAP for 3 night, high flow oxygen then low flow oxygen then room air. It was so hard

Could you share what would indicate chances of asthma? My daughter is 17ms and constant runny noses wheezing coughing since birth practically. Dr said they cant diagnose till 2.

Could you maybe talk about signs for when to address breathing issues - would be helpful for parents to understand signs like trachael tug and retractions.
