I think my favorite part of showing you pens in the Bible is how it exposes thousands to scripture while also helping so many get back into God’s word who feel nervous about what pens to use! ✨No filter, front and back✨ Truthfully, cameras are better than the naked eye because the ghosting on the back side is much more obvious in the image. And a reminder that Bible pages are thin! I don’t think we can expect to see no ghosting on any pen in this series! The intention behind this series is to help overcome a current limitation I’m facing- fear of writing in my Bible because it was my mom’s and I don’t want to mess it up. My hope is that showing you different materials in God’s word will help take away fear by showing you how they look in advance and help you feel confident in the materials you choose. Ultimately, I want to flip our mindset. Rather than fear messing it up, let’s look at the blank Bible as the real problem. Life is messy, and a Bible that is used, messy, and well loved should be our goal. He’s not judging us for how it looks, he’s grateful we’re spending time in His word. And I’ve invested thousands of my personal dollars to writing materials that I’m happy and grateful to display in many ways so that you feel a purchase is worth it and not wasted by seeing them used in useful ways for you personally. My plan is to turn this Bible into my journaling Bible starting this summer so my notes are mixed in with this series that helped me push past my fear.
