Have a look at Coco venues — it’s a wedding venue search site and you can filter by vibe, price etc. it’s honestly a life saver!

There’s a website called the bride book and I’m pretty sure you can put in your area, price range, rough dates and a vibe you want and shows you venues, photographers etc everything you need

Get wedding insurance! Go to wedding fairs, you’ll get SO many ideas. Enquire online about visiting venues. Be honest with businesses and tell them your budget and go from there. Negotiate!

As a fellow west midlander, I’m getting married at Elmbridge Farm next year! Huge tipi by a lake, woodland ceremony space too. Use your own caterer (we’ve also got a pizza van for the evening) …

Furtho Manor Farm near Milton Keynes. Was DIY on everything/ book your own caters. B&B on site, camping for the the rest of it... venue dresser, insurance, local flower farms much cheaper

The Oak Barn in Devon. Incredible! Friends got married there and tons of amazing outside space with room for trucks and accommodation. Think it’s like £5-£6k

The countryside education trust has like big treehouses and loads of room for food trucks etc and they’re super flexible with what you can do there! Plus it’s supporting a charity (New Forest) x

Bo Peep Farm in Oxfordshire - we got married in their teepee, we had outdoor games, fire pits to toast marshmallows, a bouncy castle etc. 👌🏻🩷

Forest edge tipis at woolley estate (south Oxfordshire) - can either have the tipi in front of the estate house or in the walled garden. Can get married wherever - there’s a forested area!

join a fb group for 2026 brides, ask in there for recommendations, have a look at the places and then go view.. or cheap legal side done with 2 witnesses, and ask a local farmer who has a field..

Have a look at places that aren’t necessarily ‘wedding venues’ often tome you can hire restaurants or even a coffee shop with space that can host the event.

As a girl who got married in a wedding tipi... it'll be AMAZING!! My venue was very much DIY for food etc but I think they were the anomaly. I'd suggest hiring your own tipi in your own location...
