Had a chemical burn on my face a good year ago. Any daily activity was accompanied with discomfort & irritation. I used aquaphor on the burn area to help soothe the pain & discomfort it caused.

To everyone who is dealing with a chemical burn right now, I’m so sorry. ❤️I know how painful and scary it can be, and how long it feels like it takes to heal. A lot of people have asked me what I used. Honestly, I didn’t have any special creams or ointments at home. It happened during the holidays, all the stores were closed, and the only thing I had was Johnson’s Baby Oil. I gently applied it to the burned areas to keep the skin soft while it healed. I never picked at the scabs or tried to remove them. I just let them come off naturally, and thankfully my skin healed without any scars. I think I was just very lucky. This is only my personal experience, but I truly hope everyone going through this heals quickly and completely. 🤍

same situation right now. i used a cream product on my warts last night on my nose and now it's burned and left a really dark scar. i immediately feel depressed and have so much anxiety now because i don't know how it will heal and fade faster 😭
