@tartan_viking: Brochs...great big stone towers that still largely remain a mystery. Whilst staying in the north of Lewis, I took a trip to Dun Carloway Broch. What's incredible is that this tower is around 2224 years old, crafted in such a way that it only uses the weight, shape, size, and placement of the stones to hold itself up. No form of binding material is used whatsoever. I, on the other hand, struggled to build a garden fence 😂 Want to visit this Broch on Lewis?
