i remember the agonizing anxiety of going to see family, and i’m not autistic. thank you for allowing him to take the lead, im sure the day was far more enjoyable than trying to force something

my cousin has an autistic child and he's about 6. luckily his mom is such a great advocate for him and we know his boundaries. he has gotten so much better tho with our family gatherings it's awesome!
