if u look at the very top of mondstadt it's showing a small bit of unfinished ground(cant word it) so i believe that mondstadt is gonna have an expansion (dandelion sea, the port thing, etc)

also! there’s a place in mondstadt called dorman port that has been mentioned multiple times by characters but isn’t released yet. maybe we’ll get an expansion with it someday?

i actually hope that before the last nation we get sent back to mondstadt for ventis like ACTUAL archon quest and not banishing him to be the prologue for the game
