8 years ago I started started my first job at the age of 16 as a waiter at a wedding reception. The pay was decent but I was eager to find alternative ways to make money… Fast forward a few months.. Whilst in Year 11 English class a friend of mine showed me a picture of some shoes & asked me “how much do you think these are worth”… He further showed we sales of up to $50,000 on a reselling platform stockx. From this day on, I decided to do my own research on reselling 🔐 After some research, I came across the brand Supreme which had huge demand. I later realised that they didnt ship to Australia… but I made it work. I found a forwarding company which provided me with a California address enabling purchases off the Supreme website. Once the items arrived they would then reship them to me in Sydney. From here I became one of few resellers of Supreme within Australia 🇦🇺 Supreme x Louis vuitton announced a popup in Bondi. I was studying for HSC trials @ the time but said stuff it“. I wated 30 hours in a chair to purchase these items. Spent $4500 and sold for $8300 instantly ($3800 profit) 💰 From here, I tried to start a clothing label by purchasing items off wish.com and labelling them with my own brand.. However this failed quickly. 😞 My parents started getting worried as the money I was making from reselling just kept being invested into purchasing more releases.. So I started a business diploma at tafe but it taught me nothing 📚 I then started looking at alternative avenues of reselling.. and found/joined a monthly subscription US based group which posted information on limited edition releases like yeezys, jordans, collectibles & other profitable items. 👟 From here, this sparked the idea to start my own reselling group, Lowkey Discord 🎥 Fast forward 5 years later to now (2024) & we currently have 2467 members monthly & have built up a community like no other ❤️ Reminder - Chase your dream.
