You did it right! You just twisted the ends too tight! Try to wrap them flat around the sock instead of twisting the ends if that makes sense?

Curls should be higher and closer to the scalp. It pops out at the ends like that because the scalp isnt getting any volume. Also try putting the roller in front under the hair instead of over
