If two guys are moving at the same time it’s an illegal shift. The QB and the Wr were in motion at the same time. So decline the penalty and they recovered the ball. Game over. Everybody always crying

Illegal shift is not a "pre-snap" penalty like false start like some of the folks commenting think. So KC can decline the penalty and the fumble stands. How about don't fumble the ball??

Had the clock been running at the snap, then by rule an illegal shft would convert to a false start.Since the clock was stopped(spike on 2nd down)an illegal shift is a live ball foul. know the rules.

Do the people who’ve apparently never watched football: you can’t get a false start if the offense isn’t set (which it wasn’t) the penalty that gets called is illegal shift because you ARE NOT SET
