Xtra hurdle, one kid has to have food in their system or they'll upchuck in the car so he won't have interest in food until we're getting ready to leave... I hate it here hahah

Haha ask my family what happened when they wouldn’t move the time of dinner. And said whoever doesn’t like it can stay home… haven’t been to a thanksgiving in 5 years. ❤️we have a lovely meal at home

That’s when YOU tell them when you’re available, and if they can’t accommodate then you won’t go. So thankful my family knows not to test this mama bear and nap times for kids

Yup it was dinner at one. I showed up at three and put them back down for another nap on. Everyone was mad because he wasn’t awake. He’s a month old you weren’t holding him anyways.😅

Yes my favorite is eat at 12 (after their lunch) but not allowed to come till 11 (during their lunch) and looked bad on it we leave for nap instead of staying with the family

My MIL knows what time my son naps and plans events around his nap! My own mom acts completely inconvenienced by his nap. “Can’t he just nap later or skip it that day?” NO HE CANNOT.

As someone who just lost their FIL suddenly, I wish I ignored nap times more and took them for a visit or longer visits so my kids had more time with him.
