New Orleans gal here! We don’t use rotel or jalapeño in New Orleans but that’s the beauty of a gumbo, everyone puts whatever they want in it that’s why it’s called a GUMBO!

That gumbo looks delish!! I’m New Orleans born & raised, third generation restaurant chef/owner….thats a whole lot of trinity for your gumbo. Unless it’s gonna rot on the fridge, that’s excessive.
