Curious, does the butter/oil combo change the consistency of the cake? My carrot cakes turn out extremely light, sometimes a bit too much for the frosting.

I saw a baker on here who said. Wrap and freeze your cakes immediately after the come out of the oven. Then ice them when they’re frozen.
