Crazy bcs the women in my family were the ones uplifting me, my dad would point out every physical flaw I had every single day, my uncle made it a tradition to weigh ourselves on Christmas lol

no no, you were raised by a parent who didn't care about body image, my dad commented about my weight all the time and my mom the one who put an end to the suffering. she was the reason I have now healthy body image

Both my parents were heavy into self care and dressed well. I don't really have body image issues but I have issues with other things.

So true I unfortunately passed on my poor body image on to my boys! It never occurred to me that they would pick that up from there mom My son asks me if he looks fat every time he leaves the house ☹️
