@dogmomjulia: 3 days ago I was scrolling on Instagram when I saw Bubba. He was listed as urgent, it was his euthanasia day, and he only had a few hours left. I drove to the shelter as fast as I could. Upon arrival he was extremely skinny, covered in scars and shut down. The shelter staff wouldn’t even allow me to take him out of the kennel for a meet and greet, but after that first kiss I knew he was just a gentle and misunderstood soul. He has quickly come out of his shell and showed us what a loving sweet boy he is. We saved a life, and you can to. There are so many amazing dogs being euthanized every single day.
