@thesunnahguy: Comparison is the thief of joy. Comparing yourself distracts you from your own progress and how far you have come. It makes you feel you’re behind and doesn’t allow you to enjoy the journey of growth. Competition is healthy, but when you compare and wish for others downfall, everything becomes toxic and you lose sight of why you started and the progress you’ve made. I’ve learnt that the only person you’re competing against, is the person you were yesterday. Beat that person, enjoy the process and avoid the temptation of looking sideways, because the only direction you need to look, is forward, as that is where you are going.
