Started in 77 hauling steel in Ohio,then in 1980 went long distance. Leaving Ohio 38 hours later be in Pomona California. It was so much fun back then, running fast,over weight and dodging scales.

I started in early 70’s and yes I ran 2 log books. No a/c no power steering changed my own tires on the side of the road. I enjoy your videos.

i heard so many good and bad stories from the old school guys. They were the original pioneers of the old school term. i listened to those guys.

I started in 97,I caught a few of the old school guys, I would listen to them talk on the cb at night running 55 in Ohio,we were lined up fifty trucks some nights,good memories

The old school guys had to be drivers, had to work on them too. They understood most if not all the systems on a truck.
