@keyozee: Keeping Jinx’s Braids Neat! I’ve previously worn Jinx and very quickly realized how messy the braids get, especially when adding her accessories to them - so for Fanexpo I decided to adjust them by adding blue tulle to the individual strands and braiding them together. Originally I was inspired by rapunzel cosplayers who use tulle/netting to keep the hair neat, but by doing each strand Individually instead of adding tulle to the whole braid and sewing in between, it kept the dimension in the braids and made the tulle look nearly invisible from a distance. This required making 6 tulle pieces that I threaded the hair through and then braided each side. I hid the seam by just making sure it was either on the back(against my back) or braided inward. On the back of the wig I sewed the tulle so it wouldn’t slide down and tied the ends with elastic before adding the accessories.
