It's my life... For a long time, I’ve been catching myself feeling hurt because of one girl who doesn’t understand my feelings for her and doesn’t really show any interest in me. Sometimes we argued, and the next day I would go drawing just to somehow calm myself down and take my mind off all the stress and emotions. But with time, I started to realize that she would probably continue ignoring me and showing interest in other guys, and honestly, that hurts a lot. It made me feel like I wasn’t important to her, and I spent way too much time thinking about someone who wasn’t thinking about me the same way. But eventually, I understood something much more important. In this world, people may leave you, ignore you, disappoint you, or choose someone else. But when everyone else is gone, Jesus is still there. He understands you when nobody else does. He supports you when you feel weak, loves you when you feel unworthy, protects you, listens to you, and never leaves your side. I’m slowly learning that being alone doesn’t always mean being lonely. Sometimes being alone simply means having more time to think, grow, pray, and get closer to God. Instead of spending all my time thinking about someone who doesn’t feel the same way, I want to learn how to use my time in the right way and give more of my attention to God. It isn’t easy. Sometimes my feelings still come back, and sometimes I still feel hurt. But whenever I remember that Jesus is always beside me, it gives me peace. I don’t need to chase someone who doesn’t choose me when I already have Someone who will never abandon me. So I’m trying to stop looking for happiness in people and start finding it in God. I’m trying to give Him more of my time, my thoughts, my heart, and my life. Maybe losing someone isn’t always a loss. Sometimes God allows someone to leave so that you can finally notice Who has been with you all along. And I will continue walking with Him ✝. Jesus, thank You for always being there. Even when I feel alone, I know I’m never truly alone, because You are with me. #jesus #derp #depresion #dark #faith
