Aby sprawdzić, czy filtr DPF nie jest zapchany, został on odłączony i zauważono, że jest cały w oleju. Sprawdziliśmy luz wałka turbiny i okazało się, że jest bardzo duży. To właśnie z turbiny wyciekał olej. Po demontażu turbiny było jasne, że wałek jest złamany na pół. Gorąca część turbiny obracała się niezależnie od zimnej. Na szczęście łopatki turbiny nie zostały zassane do układu dolotowego, a uszkodzenia ograniczyły się do samej turbiny. Gdyby fragmenty turbiny dostały się do dolotu, konieczna byłaby kapitalna naprawa silnika. Tym razem udało się tego uniknąć. Zamontowaliśmy nową turbinę, zregenerowaliśmy filtr DPF, wymieniliśmy olej oraz filtr powietrza. Ważnym krokiem była także wymiana przewodu doprowadzającego olej do nowej turbiny oraz rury spustowej oleju. 🇺🇸 In this video, we replace the turbocharger on a Ford Transit with a 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine. The vehicle stopped running and wouldn’t start. To check if the DPF filter was clogged, it was removed, revealing that it was completely covered in oil. We inspected the turbocharger shaft for play and found significant looseness. The oil was leaking directly from the turbocharger. After removing the turbo, it became clear that the shaft was broken in half. The hot side of the turbo spun separately from the cold side. Fortunately, the turbo blades were not sucked into the intake, and the damage was limited to the turbo itself. If parts of the turbo had entered the intake, it would have required a complete engine rebuild. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case. We installed a new turbocharger, regenerated the DPF filter, replaced the engine oil, and installed a new air filter.
