arnt you technically seeing the heat of the infection and can identify it as a abscess

I think this is founder I use a thermal too and it's never this inflamed for abscess.

I'm going to try this with my reptiles infrared heat reader. I use it to test out the heat in basking spots but it would also be great to compare the heat in hooves. they are cheap and accurate.
