For safety I would first focus on anything near the stove, furnaces/radiators, a path for emergency exit/paramedics, stairs, avalanches. (Yes I realize this is a looong list)

She appears to have a great deal of style and taste. She looks to have some good stuff. Hoarding has many causes. Prime trigger is physiological. We are ‘programmed’ to collect/save food firewood etc etc as human existence required it. Modern times It’s sort of been replaced with shopping …it’s a seemingly productive exercise. …to a point. Lots of dopamine hits. Feels good. HOWEVER some don’t have an off switch. The stuff no longer becomes an asset. Gran will need a replacement activity and therapy. Maybe a cat to look after.

On her tough days work on the “out of sight rooms” if she will allow it. In her good days work on important rooms- bathroom, kitchen, her bedroom, hallways and stairs.
