If the customer got pulled over by the police would they face any sort of fines for driving with tires like that, in the UK you'd get a fine and points on your license ultimately receiving a ban

I always bought china cheapies for winter tires, always been happy with them. for my nice tires on my cars, Goodyear for the Land Rover, Pirelli for the Alfa

Had this with a customer one time in a tyre shop. “You’re trying to sell me things I do not need” “these tyres are fine I don’t know what you are talking about” - okay then take your car and go… 🙃
