@halalstreets: Japan Airlines Business Class 🇯🇵 ✈️ Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner 📍 Melbourne -> Narita (DIRECT) ⏳ 7:20 -> 15:15 💺 JAL SKY SUITE (8K, 8H) ❗️ Nothing Halal on this route, however no alcohol is used in any of the food, so we just ate the vegetarian / seafood parts of the meal ✨ Didn’t know, but you can book halal option in advance, DO THIS ONLINE!!! Our Rating: 8/10 The beginning of the Japan food tour begins and we kicking it off on JAL BUSINESS CLASS! 🥳 First things first, although it is set up in the old 2-2-2 layout, every seat still gets aisle access which is great! The seats themselves are super comfy, you have legroom for absolute days and a solid amount of shoulder room. Although the colour palette of the business interior is quite bland, honestly can’t wait for the new A350 business suites to fly to Australia! 🤩 You can convert the seat to a fully lie flat bed (AMAZING) and they provide a blanket aswell. Was able to get 4-5 hours of sleep, which is 10/10 considering we woke up at 3:30am to get ready for this 7:20am flight. Being a morning flight we didn’t receive pyjamas, which you get on night time flights. 😭 The amenities kit were okay, you get a charger, eye mask, toothpaste, tooth brush and a plastic phone holder, we’ve had much better from previous business class experiences (Qatar Q-Suite Dyptique kits…) 😕 The Vegetarion and Seafood parts of the dining set was delicious, although the rest wasn’t halal, that salmon was INSANELY TENDER AND SOFT, and the JAL SIGNATURE DRINK was REFRESHING (peach & grape)! But future me better book the halal option in advance. 🤤 Being an older plane and an older business class, you can see the entertainment start to age, quite slow and not a ginormous selection of movies, but still a lot. TV was huge though! 🫡 The great thing about Business Class is that 10hrs just flies with the dining service, sleeping on a bed and a few movies, you just don’t want to leave!
