APPLE-BISCOFF PIE WITH CUSTARD #applepie #biscoff #pie #yummy #Recipe #food #fy #tiktokfood #fyp #foryou #foryoupage COOKIE DOUGH 200 g tea biscuits 165 g unsalted butter APPLE MIXTURE 675 g apples (4 apples) 45 g brown sugar 8 g vanilla sugar (1 packet) 4 g cinnamon powder (1⅓ teaspoon) YELLOW CREAM 3 egg yolks (medium) 100 g granulated sugar 16 g vanilla sugar (2 packets) 60 g cornstarch 75 ml milk 600 ml milk TOPPING 150 g biscoff paste GARNISH Biscoff cookies walnuts apple whipped cream Grind the tea biscuits in a food processor. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over low heat. Place the finely ground biscuits in a deep bowl and mix them with the melted butter until well combined. Take a springform/baking pan and line it with parchment paper. Spread the cookie dough over it and press it firmly against the bottom (use the bottom of a spoon as a tool). Refrigerate the cookie dough for a while. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the apple pieces with brown sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon powder. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the apples become soft and begin to caramelize. Mix everything and let it cool. In a deep bowl, combine the egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla sugar, and mix for 1 minute. Add the cornstarch and 75 ml of milk, and mix until smooth. Bring the remaining 600 ml of milk to a boil in a saucepan. Remove it from the heat and, while stirring, gradually add it to the egg mixture. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until it thickens, stirring continuously. Put the yellow cream in a piping bag. Spread half of the yellow cream over the cookie dough, followed by the apple mixture. Repeat with another layer of yellow cream and spread it evenly. Melt the Biscoff paste in a saucepan over low heat, stirring, and let it cool. Pour the Biscoff paste evenly over the apple pie. Garnish the apple-Biscoff pie with chopped walnuts on the sides, a dollop of whipped cream, Biscoff cookies, and slices of apple. 22 cm - 50 minutes - 8 slices
