We got our FL home in 2020 w/a 2.2% interest rate. We can't move bc we won't find a better price ever again. Just making life work bc we have such a good home. 😩 Thankful but would love to move.

I am about to leave and I just moved here 2 yrs ago from Arizona. It was good at the beginning but the taxes and insurance are almost as much as my mortgage. Is not worth it.

Problem is those people may get paid that much coming in. But none will be here to working at a grocery store or gas station for necessities because minimum wage can’t afford rent

As someone who makes six figures I’ve looked at moving out of central FL bc I can’t consciously pay the price of these homes and be ok with it like I would in another state

the sad thing is to live comfortably in central Florida (Clermont Kissimmee Davenport area) you need to make around 55k just to not live paycheck to paycheck

Cost of living has increased everywhere. We bought in 17 cheap at a 2.8% taxes are capped at 3%. They haven’t gone up much at all. The only thing is the insurance I have to shop around every year
